First and foremost you should avoid sun and solarium. UV rays are the number 1 cause for hyper-pigmentation. In addition, we recommend the following course of treatment:

As additional care CHB¹⁵ Power Up is highly recommended. The high concentration of vitamin C further supports whitening of dark skin area. For fast and sustaining results, the retipalm-beautician uses Herbal Implant System (K. I. S.) as biological skin renewal in the salon, to provide a foundation for further care, or for Whitening Skin Therapy to speed up home care with Know How White.

Generally, almost all retipalm-products can be used as they do not contain any irritating ingredients. We recommend in particular the following course of treatment:

Cleansing: Mild Cleansing Cream
Clarifying: Therma Vital Toner
Moisturizing: Vitamin Hydro Gel
Care: Sebum Control, Soft Performance Night Cream normal to oily skin, as rosacea is mostly a form of seborrhoe.

Should little lumps have formed, apply Clear Skin partially. Also CHB¹⁵ Power Up can be used due to its high content in Vitamin C (strengthens the vascular system).  Further, hyaluronic acid with vitamin B5 has calming, stabilising and moisture-locking qualities.

We explicitly DO NOT recommend Cell Power and products containing fruity acids when suffering from rosacea.

Can I use the Intensive Cleansing Foam as a shampoo when I suffer from psoriasis on my scalp?

Yes. Massage a small amount (2 drops)  into wet hair, rinse thoroughly and repeat shampooing.

How can I treat psoriasis at the hairline (forehead)?

Psoriasis is a disease. Cosmetics can merely support a treatment. Good results can be reached by alternating the use of Salurea Intensiv and Cream SOS. Both products moisturize skin intensely due to high contents of urea. In addition, salicyclic acid in Salurea Intensiv removes surplus scales from the skin’s surface. MicroSilver contained in Cream SOS has antibacterial and antimicrobial qualities.

Cleanse the affected area with lukewarm water and apply Cell Power generously to still wet skin. Do not panic if skin reddens or a warm feeling develops: the burnt area of skin is already red and warm. This condition does not increase much by using Cell Power. If possible, repeat this treatment for 2 to 3 days. Thereafter, use Body Balm or Body Vitamin Intensive Concentrate for continuing care.

Very easily and with great success: Simply massage Salurea Intensiv at least twice daily into the affected areas.

Many of our products contain an unusually high concentration of vitamin E. If you want to nourish your skin with a particular high dose of this skin vitamin, consult your beautician who will apply our anti-ageing concentrate from an ampoule. For body care, the Body Vitamin Intensive Concentrate contains the highest amount of vitamin E.

Dark circles around the eyes either have a genetic cause (dark, Mediterranean types) or they have an internal cause. Both cannot be influenced with a cosmetic treatment on the outside. The only solution is to cover them up or brighten up that area with a concealer or with retiColour Compact Make-up, shade 01 — Porcelain. We recommend the Eye Zone Gel Concentrate as permanent care due to its very good moisturising and smoothing qualities.

This is not unusual. Due to its more  liquid consistency, concentrate 1 of CHB¹⁵ Power Up is often used up first. That is no problem as concentrate 2 can also be used on its own. It contains pure hyaluronic acid, which locks in moisture very well. Therefore: continue using it until this little bottle is also finished. Thereafter, you can start all over again with a new CHB¹⁵ Power Up and both concentrates.

The Therma Vital Toner is made from pure brine salt and contains all minerals and trace elements, which our organism needs. They have a stabilising, balancing and also  a healing effect on the skin. If skin is irritated, shows open wounds or is damaged, it is possible that the minerals leave a more intense tingling feeling on the skin. This can by no means be compared to the tingling or burning sensation of an acid. Taking a bath in the Dead Sea is a good comparison. Especially people with severe skin problems are often sent there for treatment. They also report an initial burning of the skin when bathing. Following that the skin heals very well.

The products by retipalm derma cosmetic contain vitamins in unusual high concentration and freshness. Therefore, we recommend to always start with the first step (Soft Performance) so skin can get used to them. For normal to dry and normal to oily skin, we offer this day and night care programme with different oil contents. For young skin and skin with a tendency to impurities, the first step (Soft Performance) is totally sufficient, When first fine lines appear, we recommend to change to the second step (High Performance). The change to the third step (Top Performance) is only necessary when skin is severely atrophic, shows signs of hyper-pigmentation or old scars. Should skin react in an undesired way during a longer period of using Top Performance, we recommend to return to step 2 (High Performance).

Certainly! Due to panthenol and allantoin Vitamin Hydro Gel soothes stressed skin after shaving. It also moisturises. The oil-free consistency and the practical vacuum dispenser make Vitamin Hydro Gel an ideal skincare for men.

Indeed, it is ideal to mix the Calming BB Cream with a day-care product. The result is a very natural colour. If strong sun protection is necessary, the Calming BB Cream can be mixed with a Sun protection product. If a strong covering effect is desired, the Calming BB Cream should be applied directly over the day-care product.

How often can I use the Wake Up Mask?

Like the name says, the Wake Up Mask is a mask to wake up the skin. It works within 5 to 10 minutes and has a refreshing and lightly cooling effect, while at the same time refining pores and reducing swelling. Therefore it is a wonderful product for the mornings, whenever you feel it necessary. Further it gives the skin a fresh kick before an evening out after a long working day or as a refreshing mask on hot summer days.

Why is sun protection by retipalm not water-resistant?

To make an emulsion water-resistant, chemical substances are necessary which stress the skin and cannot be washed off with a normal shower or wash. We think this is very alarming. For a future with healthy skin, we prefer to re-apply the retipalm sun protection products after every swim.

Are the retipalm sun protection factors in summer and in winter sufficient?

Sun light and UV rays become increasingly aggressive and are responsible for a large number of skin damages. The only 100 % protection is to avoid sun light altogether. retipalm derma cosmetic Day Care and Sun protection contain effective UV A and UV B filters to protect skin from ageing through sun light. If the UV exposure is extremely high, e.g. when skiing in the mountains, we recommend to mix the sun protection with a Calming BB Cream, as the mineral pigments used increase the physical sun protection.

Is retipalm sun protection also suitable for children?

Yes, absolutely! retipalm derma cosmetic Sun protection is very kind to the skin and does not include any Retinyl Palmitat (Vitamin A), which should only be used from puberty onwards.

At least this has been reported by users. For best results, the Body Vitamin Intensive Concentrate should be massaged into the stomach area at least once a day from the start of the pregnancy. If stretch marks have already occurred, these should be treated additionally with Cell Power: 2 x daily to an already wet skin and 2 to 3 minutes later, the Body Vitamin Intensive Concentrate should be massaged in. Best results can be reached if stretch marks are not older than 6 months.

Every vacuum dispenser and every UV glass as well as every carton shows a little, open jar with an inscription, e. g. ‘6M’. This means: after opening of the product it can be kept for at least six months. As long as the product is still closed, the manufacturer’s guarantee of more than 30 months from date of production is valid.

From shower gel to hairspray, from toothpaste to deodorant, from dishwashing liquid to washing powder, we use aromatised products day in and day out and cause our skin a lot of stress by doing so. Residues of aromas can already be found in breast milk of women. Many substances are necessary to perfume a product, and each and every single one of these substances one can cause individual skin irritations. Therefore, all our products are fragrance free.

Parabenes have been used to preserve cosmetics for many years. But the number of intolerances in users has also considerably increased. As an alternative, retipalm derma cosmetic use not only a specialised production process but also vacuum dispensers to preserve their products, which keep contents away from destroying sun light and aggressive oxygen. This system further guarantees maximum hygiene – a contamination with germs like it occurs when using jars is almost impossible.

Mineral oils build a film over the skin surface, seal it and avoid penetration of the ingredients into the skin. This might be desired for colourants of decorative cosmetics, but for a skin care programme like retipalm it is most counter-productive. What is the use of all the fresh, highly concentrated vitamins if they remain on the skin’s surface? The skin would ‘starve’, loose elasticity and age prematurely. In addition, mineral oils cause comedons and deep lying blemishes, as sebum cannot be secreted properly.

The retipalm toners (clarifiers) are ideal as an after shave. They do not contain any alcohol which dries out the skin and also no fragrance which could irritate sensitive skin after shaving. Gently yet thoroughly the mild fruit acids in the Sensitiv Toner and the Intensiv Toner remove keratinocytes on the surface of the skin, facial hair can easily grow out of the hair follicles now. This prevents impurities which men typically develop on their neck. For very sensitive male skin, we recommend Therma Vital Toner after shaving. Rich in minerals and trace elements, it stabilizes and soothes irritated skin.

Generally, the treatment with the Herbal Implant System (K. I. S.) is used to treat a specific skin problem, similar to the de-thatching of a lawn. Following the final treatment after 5 days, the skin’s capacity to absorb is particularly strong and it should be nourished with nutrients to reach a healthy skin condition. For that, the retipalm products are ideal, as they contain central ingredients in a pure form which are highly concentrated. Therefore, we recommend to treat skin for at least four to six weeks with retipalm products, following the K. I. S. treatment. Products with synthetic aromas and / or mineral oils should under no circumstances be used following a K. I. S. treatment.

Diabetes occurs in different stages, from light to severe. This last stage often causes wounds which do not heal properly, skin that is extremely sensitive and not regenerating well. In this case, a treatment with Herbal Implant System (K. I. S.) is not recommended. If it is a lighter form of diabetes, treatment should not cause any problems. Generally and in case of uncertainties, a doctor should ALWAYS be consulted first.

It depends on how severe the couperosis is. If it only occurs partially, e.g. on the cheeks, it is possible to leave out that area during a treatment with the Herbal Implant System (K. I. S.). If the couperosis occurs on large areas with defined redness, we explicitly DO NOT recommend it.

The Herbal Implant System (K. I. S.) can already be used in young adolescents from the age of 15 to treat e.g. adolescent acne.

Skin renewal starts on day one already, following the initial treatment with the Herbal Implant System (K. I. S.). The peeling process usually starts to be visible on day 3 and reaches its peak on the fourth day.

Is it possible to be “social” while on a treatment course with the Herbal Implant System (K. I. S.)?

Certainly! The box for the Herbal Implant System (K. I. S.) contains all products to treat the skin on the days between the treatments at the salon. The combination of Soft Performance Day Cream normal to oily skin and Calming BB Cream lets the peeling process become almost invisible. In general we recommend planning the peeling in a way that no important appointments take place on the days of the intense peeling of the skin. It is absolutely out of the question to expose the skin to sun light or the solarium! For the success of this treatment it is also of utmost importance NOT to clean the skin with soaps or cleansing products on the days between the treatments.
